“For me, being a surgeon is more than just using a scalpel or suturing,” she says. “It’s about sharing a life-changing transformation and improving someone’s quality of life. I never take for granted the trust that my patients place in me. It’s a privilege to be a part of their transformation.”
For Dr. Zagkou, the bond she creates with her patients is the most rewarding part of her work. She is passionate about both plastic and reconstructive surgery but emphasizes the importance of daily skincare routines as part of maintaining youthfulness and slowing the aging process.
