On Tuesday night, the vibrant atmosphere of New York City will host a special charity fashion show sponsored by iconic designer Nicole Miller in support of the Verma Foundation’s “Capwalk” event. The Verma Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Natasha Verma, a Fox 5 NY news anchor and cancer survivor, aims to provide free real hair cap wigs to cancer patients, helping to restore their confidence during challenging times.
In an exclusive interview with WWD ahead of the event, Miller expressed her enthusiasm for the cause, noting her history of dressing Verma on several occasions. Her connection with the foundation has led her to become the exclusive fashion and apparel sponsor for this impactful show, highlighting the power of fashion in fostering community and support.
The Capwalk fashion show promises to be an inspiring spectacle, featuring both former and current cancer patients as they grace the runway, escorted by Fox 5 NY personalities, local celebrities, and athletes, including New York Jets’ Solomon Thomas.
